Happy, Healthy Kittens & a Great Breeder
We’ve welcomed into our family two different Maine Coons from Cathlene over the past year and a half. An orange boy and a beautiful grey girl. In both cases we were very appreciative of her attention to process and dialogue going into the acquisition. We could tell that she was interviewing us as much as we were here. She cared. Both of the kittens were healthy and happy. We were so grateful in both cases to have a cattery close to us that had a great Maine Coons. We picked up one of them in person and the other we used a delivery service. In both cases Cathlene was very on top of it and there were no issues. Recommended breeder, Phenomenal Kittens
We got our boy Duncan from this breeder (Exotic Coons) in 2014. We currently have 7 different cats, all from different breeders and I do a lot of research to make sure the breeders are ethical and the cats are bred healthy. I’m not looking for a best friend when I look for a breeder. I’m looking for a healthy and well socialized, healthy kitten. Our boy has been very healthy and has been a phenomenal kitty. We love him dearly and he gets along well with all our other cats. I highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for this breed of cat.

wonderful personalities – gorgeous cats!
I fell in love with her cats. I have several from her and all of my cats are healthy and thriving with wonderful personalities. They are each unique, but they have amazing temperament and they all share the gorgeous. The breeder was thorough, respectful and did her own due diligence to ensure that her kittens and cats were going to a good home. She had all of the initial information that I needed on her website, which she keeps up-to-date on a real time basis. After talking to me on the phone, we met in person and had a face-to-face meeting where I went over some paperwork and looked at the kittens. She answered any and all questions that I had at that time.

He has been such a joy to our household so when we were ready to add another we went to her for our Maine Coon too. I love that she really cares about the life of her kitties and wants the best. I can’t imagine buying a kitten from anyone else. I was interested in a kitten to be a personal companion since was single at the time of my first purchase. I was very interested in finding a “responsible” breeder; a breeder who had a few good quality litters per year and one who did genetic testing to screen for problems to. This breeder is very educational in many ways. She is a good steward of the breed and the individual animals in her care. I got very lucky to have stumbled upon her. She was a thoughtful communicator from the very beginning, and we had meaningful conversations about her cats, my background and experience, and our mutual expectations. I could tell she genuinely cared for her cats as family members, and I felt I would receive a lot of ongoing support once I purchased one of her kittens.
We have now purchased TWO kittens from her, so that pretty much says it all. Our experiences have been universally positive. If we could have eight of her cats, we probably would! I could write a novel about our cats. They’re gorgeous, well-tempered, cherished family companions, and a million other things. I can’t say enough about them. I have enough respect for this breeder and her cats that I actually do NOT recommend her to every random person who asks me about a Maine coon kitten. Her cats deserve extremely committed families who will be responsible in every way (and she would accept nothing less). Unfortunately, that doesn’t describe just any owner. For the people that keep their cats inside and treat them as part of the family, I absolutely I recommend her exclusively. I would just like to thank Cathlene for the role she played in our lives in making it possible for us to live with these absolutely cherished family members. We can’t imagine our lives without our wonderful cats, and it is a privilege to be their caretakers. We’ll be loyal and lifelong customers. More than that, over the years, this breeder has been an amazing resource and a wonderful friend to us. We are extremely grateful for everything!

This breeder is kind, caring, and highly invested in you and your success with her kittens. She goes above and beyond, even AFTER you take one of her kittens home. I purchased a Maine Coon kitten from her about two years ago. I had to interview over the phone in order to make sure I was a good fit for one of her babies. Luckily I was, and I got to take home a healthy, lovey, gorgeous kitten.
She is always responsive to you, for anything, after you have one of her kittens. My Karma went through some vet issues, not hereditary (she was eating Nerf darts!), but the breeder was there for me during every step to help with how to care for her and next steps. She does not have to do that, and I think you’d find it hard to find another breeder who does. I highly, highly, highly recommend this breeder and would give her 10 stars if I could.

knowledgeable and caring breeder – Amazing cats
It is important to research the breeders you get your pets from to make sure they are knowledgeable and caring. Cathlene is both of these things. She has been producing the best cats for many years and has an extremely good reputation amongst her peers. I had the pleasure of finding her and this amazing breed through a friend and went on to add four of her cats to my family. All are healthy and affectionate, they have great personalities. She was always available when I had questions or concerns. When the time comes I would most definitely go back to her!!

I think this breeder is one of the best I have dealt with. I have spoken to her many times over the past few years regarding our cats and she has always been knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I trust her and feel that she is doing a great job with her cats.
She feeds above average quality cat foods, has sweet, beautiful kittens, and seems to deeply love her cats. Unlike many breeders out there who seem to be all about money, she is very particular what kind of homes her kittens go to! She is exceptionally knowledgeable about genetics and other important aspects of caring for cats. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new furry family member!

Exoticcoons made a difference in my life!
Having lost my previous Maine Coon, I was out searching for another. I came across Exoticcoons, and I became curious about what kitties they had available. I emailed them and got a reply within 30 minutes, probably closer to 15 minutes. I was impressed with that. Cathleen and I set up a time a little later in the day to chat, get to know each other, and see if the cat I was interested in would be a good fit. I expressed interest in one of her adult cats (3.5yo) and then realized Cathleen, in fact, had two, both male and female. This took me aback; another option was on the table.If I remember correctly, we spoke for roughly 90 minutes and left it to me to ponder. There was no pressure, no games. It was left up to me to decide. Well, I suck at deciding.Cathleen and I had a couple more phone call discussions, and it became apparent that what I was seeking was the characteristics of both, but I was not able to take on two more kitties. Cathleen made a suggestion that blew me away. Cathleen noted that she had one last kitten from a recent litter that was available. I did ask why she hadn’t mentioned it before, and Cathleen told me it was due to my interest in the other kitties. No upselling.I asked Cathleen to send me some pictures of this kitten, and I’d check her out. Adorable, just absolutely adorable. Talking about the kitten here, no offense.I said, “I’m in!” And we started making plans. She introduced me to a flight nanny as I didn’t live in the area and wasn’t up for driving from Phoenix, AZ.I was able to get roundtrip for the flight nanny setup super quickly and was able to get all the details sorted out.The entire process from then on was absolutely wonderful and fantastic. Cathleen walked me through everything I needed, what I needed to do, and all of the details. And more than once did she help me.Since I brought that kitten home, Cathleen has been in contact with me regularly to ensure the transition for the kitten to its new home was infinitely easier.I am grateful to be this little one in my home and my life, but I can not thank Cathleen enough for her graciousness in her actions and for helping me bring home a wonderful little kitten.Thank you, Cathleen, for making a difference in my life.
